When someone purchases a “Birthday Bomb”, the recipient receives a birthday package experience by having access to free gifts and offers from participating local businesses. They have 6 months to redeem those gifts in person.
What do businesses provide?
Each business chooses one simple birthday gift, treat or activity (examples: one free treat, one free entry, a credit, etc.). You decide what makes sense for your business. It’s meant to introduce them to your business without giving your business away.
How does my business benefit?
Birthday celebrations are rarely done alone. Most recipients bring friends or family when redeeming their gift, which creates new paying customers, foot traffic, and exposure to your business. Birthday Bomb will bundle your business’s gift with other participating business’s gifts in the area to create a unique birthday package experience and celebration. It’s designed to introduce new local customers in a positive, fun way.
Is there any cost or contract?
No. There are no fees, contracts, or long-term commitments. You can opt out at any time. If you find it’s not benefiting your business, we can remove or change your gift that same day. We simply ask that previously purchased gifts are honored to maintain a good customer experience.
Do the gifts expire?
Yes. Recipients have up to 6 months to redeem their gifts. After that, the offers automatically expire and are no longer valid.
How do businesses redeem gift for the customer?
The customer will show the business their gift availability from their “My Birthday Bombs” tab from their account. Customers will click on “Redeem Now” and the employee will enter a simple 4-digit code specific to their business that will mark that one-time gift as “redeemed”.
